Money Saving Tip Tuesday
Welcome to another edition of Money Saving tips.
In this edition I will be sharing some cool tips that won't break your bank, and will keep you smiling from ear to ear all the time.
Once again thank you for sticking around for, this Second edition of money-saving tips for this April edition. I will be bring you different money-saving tip's daily on saving cash in your wallet, every Tuesday. This week I will be giving you a Money saving recipe, yes! making delicious meals within side the comfort of your home, or wherever you maybe can also save "YOU" Money!
Yes, once again I am bring you an inexpensive recipe that, I know will keep you and you're wallet happy. I just want to share with you that it, really all depends on where you shop for all the ingredients.
This recipe happens to be one of my all- time favorite because I am a person who Love's eggs. Yes ever since I was a little kid, I would say I could eat eggs all day. This recipe is called Beefy Cheesy Omelette, and it serves only 1. As there is an **extra bonus tip at the very end of this recipe. Yes, You heard me correctly "EXTRA-BONUS"! I actually got this tip from one of my favorite television chef's Michael Symon.
Beefy Cheesy Omelette
2 lg. eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. shredded cheese
2 tsp. Beef flavoring (Ramen seasoning packet)
2 tsp. baking powder * (add to eggs, which makes them fluffy)
1 Tbsp. Margarine *(equal parts of margarine to oil)
1 Tbsp. Oil
Directions:
1. Melt margarine and add oil in a medium sized skillet hover medium heat.
2. in a small bowl combine eggs,beef flavoring and baking powder.
3. Once the pot is good and hot, pour the eggs and allow to cook.
4. Add the cheese and flip the egg, to form an omelette.
5. Flip onto the other side. so that it cook's evenly.

Administrators Corner:
I want to say that if your expense's do not allow you, to afford meat to add into this recipe. That is where you can add in that Ramen flavoring packet. So, do not frown over expensive saving, :) at inexpensive saving.

Cornmeal mush
Did you know Cornmeal mush is a very versatile dish, to make and it tastes very good. you can take it in many directions, whether you want it to be plain, Savory, Sweet. It's just like any other versatile meal.
Serves: 5
3/5 c. - 1 tsp. cornmeal
1 1/2 c. - 1 Tbsp. Water
1/4 tsp. Course Himalayan Salt
1 3/4 c. lg. heads Bok Choy, chopped
Directions:
1. Mix together Cornmeal, water and salt in a medium-sized saucepan. Allow to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, then add in bok choy until mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Apple Chocolate Chip cookies
Why not turn your breakfast into a, on-the-go breakfast.
Serves: 18
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
3 Tbsp. water
2 c.gluten free old-fashioned oats
1 c. gluten-free all-purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick (1/2 cup) of vegan margarine, softened
1/2 c. Organic Pure sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chocolate chips, or Cacao nibs
1/2 c. Honeycrisp apples, diced
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a small-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flax seeds and water. Allow sitting for 2 minutes.
3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together Oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
4. In a larger standard-size mixing bowl with, an electric mixer, cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the flax mixture and vanilla extract and stir until combined.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture until just combined. Add the apples and stir until incorporated well.
6. Using about 2 Tablespoonful, Place onto a well-greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Baked Apple Crisp

This is not like your ordinary Baked Apples. This inspirations comes from Apple Crisp, just take Apples and reverse it.
Serves: 5- including the topping
5 Ambrosia Apples
1/2 c.- 2 Tbsp. Organic Brown sugar
1/4 c.- 1 Tbsp. Margarine
2 1/2 tsp. ground Cinnamon
1/2 c.- 2 Tbsp. Organic Brown sugar
1/4 c.- 1 Tbsp. Margarine
2 1/2 tsp. ground Cinnamon
Topping
1 1/4 c. Organic Brown sugar
3/4 c. - 3 Tbsp. Oat
3/4 c. - 3 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. - 3 Tbsp. Oat
3/4 c. - 3 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Core the center of the apple out, leaving a well.you do not want to cut all the way through. Stuff the apples with 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1 Tbsp. Margarine.
3. Topping: blend together brown sugar, oats, flour, and 1 tsp. cinnamon in a medium sized bowl. Using a pastry cutter to mash cold Margarine into the oats mixture until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs; place the crumble inside the apples, and places the apples in a baking dish. Pat down the topping gently until even.
4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until apples are tender and golden brown.

Gluten Free Raisin and Spice Pretzels

Serves: 5
2 c. Blanched Almond Meal Flour
3/8 eggs, beaten
2/3 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp.- 3/4 tsp. Raisins
1/8 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 1/4 Tbsps. Margarine
3 3/4 Tbsps. Coconut Flour
1 1/4 tsps water
coarse salt
1. Blend together eggs, vanilla and raisins inside of a small mixing bowl; cover and let sit for about 1 hour. Add the almond flour, salt and margarine together and mix until incorporated well. Into the mixture, pour and mix the beaten eggs. your dough should be very wet.
2. Add in 1 Tbsp. of coconut flour and mix until incorporated well. Allowing the mixture to sit for about a minute as the coconut flour takes a bit of time to absorb. You are looking for a dough that can be easily kneaded, yet will not stick to your hands. Add 2 more Tbsp. of coconut flour, your dough should look like the texture of play-doh.
3. Allow the dough to rest for about five minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Gently grease a cookie sheet.
4. Take a hunk of dough about half the size of a golf ball,and roll the dough under your hands into a long skinny pencil about the length of a pencil.
5. Once you have a piece of dough the size of a golf ball, continue to roll it thinner and thinner until it is about twice as long.
6. Be VERY gentle when lift the long skinny piece of dough to the cookie sheet. Twist it carefully into the shape of a pretzel – or shape them into whatever shape you want.
7. Place the pretzels in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Beat the remaining egg and add 1 teaspoon water.
8. Remove the pretzels from the oven. Turn the oven up to 400°F.
9. Turning all of the pretzels over and you will see that the bottom is nicely brown in color. This is actually the top of your pretzel! Lightly brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
10. Return to the oven for 5 minutes more.

Waffle Supreme

Inspired by: Grilled Cheese
This is not like any other waffle you have ever tasted.The inspiration of a grilled cheese plus more, then you ever thought of.
Serves: 4
Waffle
1/2 (.25 oz.) Pkg. active dry yeast
2 Tbsp. Warm milk
1/4 c. Organic sugar
1 1/2 egg yolks
3/4 tsp. Course Himalayan salt
1 tsp. Vanilla exact
2 c. all- purpose flour
1 1/2 egg whites
1 1/3 c. - 1 Tbsp. warm milk
1/4 c. - 2 Tbsp. Margarine, melted and cooled to lukewarm
Waffle Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in a 1/4 c warm milk. allow to stand until yeast becomes creamy, for about 10 minutes.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks, 1/4 c warm milk and the melted margarine. Stirring in yeast mixture, sugar, salt and vanilla extract. Stir in the remaining 2 1/2 c. milk alternating with the flour, ending with the flour. Beat in the egg whites until they form soft peaks; folding into the batter. Cover the glass mixing bowl tightly with plastic wrap. allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, for about 1 hour.
Waffle Filling
6 oz. Chorizo Sausage
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions:
1. Crumble the sausage into a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly brown. Set aside.
2. Waffle assembly: Add cheese and chorizo to the waffle, and top with the waffle.
3. Place waffle on a griddle pan, until the cheese melt.

Apple and cinnamon brown rice
This is a perfect breakfast option if you're looking for a different alternative to getting your daily dose of "Fiber" in.
Serves: 4
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. Brown rice
3 Tbsp. Margarine
2 Apples, cored and chopped
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. - 1 tsp. organic brown sugar
Directions:
1. In a saucepan bring 1-1/2 cups water to boil, add rice and apples. allow it to come back to a boil, cover the pot, and simmer for about 45-50 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
2. After about 20 minutes before the rice is completely finished cooking. Add in the Margarine, Cinnamon, and Sugar and stir until incorporated.

Living Better Griddle Panini

Feeling like taking your original pancake breakfast to the next level? Why not spike it up a few notches.
Serves: 6
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. Course Himalayan salt
2 Tbsp. Organic brown sugar
2 lg eggs, lightly beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. Vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
Panini Assembly
Eggs
Turkey Bacon
Cheese
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, blend together flour,baking powder, baking soda.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, blend together salt, brown sugar, buttermilk, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. And wet mixture with the dry, stir until dry mixture is blended well with the wet mixture. (you should still see some lumps)
3. Heat a griddle pan over medium heat, using a stick of Margarine rub over the surface of griddle pan to grease. Pouring 1/4 c. of prepared batter for each pancake onto the griddle and cook until tops of each pancake are bubbly and the edges are dry. Flip with a spatula and cook until pancakes are cooked through.
4. Meanwhile, heat closed panini maker or indoor grill 5 minutes
5. layer one prepared pancake with egg, bacon and cheese, then top it off with the other prepared pancake.
6. Transfer filled pancake to heated panini or grill closing the cover, pressing down slightly.allowing to cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned and cheese is melted. Serve warm :)

Potato-Apple Hash browns
I simply went to food heaven after eating this, and you will to.
Serves: 5
5 Idaho potatoes, peeled
1/3 c. - 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
5 Granny Smith Apples, cored and peeled
Himalayan Salt and Freshly cracked pepper (to taste)
salsa (to garnish)- Optional
Directions:
1. Shredded potatoes into a large size mixing bowl filled with cold water. mix until the water looks cloudy, drain and cover potatoes with fresh clean cold water. stirring to make sure you get all the starch off. Drain potatoes good, and pat with a paper towel, or a brown paper bag. And squeeze any excess moisture.
2. In a clean large size mixing bowl shredded apples filled with cold water, and lemon juice so the apples do not oxidize. Drain apples well, following the rest of step one direction.
3. Combine Potatoes and apples together.
4. Heat a dutch oven skillet with vegetable oil, on medium-high heat. Sprinkle Potatoes and Apple mixture into the pan and season.
5. cook the potato-apple mixture until you see a brown color formation on the bottom, giving it about 5 minutes. repeat the same process on the other side for about 5 minutes.

Cheddar Better Egg Sandwich
This is a perfect bread replacement, especially if you have any gluten issues. Like, Celiac disease, Gluten intolerance and ect.
Serves: 1-2
2 brown eggs
Cheddar flavor Rice cakes
1 Tbsp. Cheese
Directions:
1. In a medium to Small sized fry pan, using non-stick cooking spray (Spray pan before turn on the heat).
2. Once pan is good and hot, crack egg in and let fry until well done.
3. Remove egg from the pan and assemble sandwich. Place egg onto the rice cake while egg is still hot, add cheese and top with the last rice cake.

Fruit Sushi

This is a wonderful take on sushi while it's quite healthy for you to.
Serves: 12
1 c. uncooked sushi rice
1/4 c. Pure granulated sugar
1/4 c. light coconut milk
1/4 tsp. Course Himalayan salt
12 thinly slices of kiwi
12 thinly slice Banana
12 mandarin oranges
6 Cherries, cut in half
Manuka honey to use as glue (optional)
Directions:
1. Rinse the rice until water runs clean. Allow the rice to soak inside a clean bowl of water for about 30 minutes. Bring 1 to 1/4 cup of water to a boil in a medium- sized saucepan. Cover,reducing the heat and let simmer for 15 minutes or until water has slightly soak up. Remove from heat; and allow to stand, covered for 15 minutes.
2. Add rice into a large size bowl. Then add in sugar, milk and salt. Stirring lightly until well incorporated. cover and allow to sit for 20 minutes.
3. Gently coat your hands with non-stick cooking spray. Evenly divide rice mixture into equal portions, shaping each portion of rice into a ball (approximately 2 Tbsp, of rice). Press each rice ball into an oval shape in between your palms; place rice onto a prepared baking sheet, or prepared cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Add with the finishing touches (Fruit)

Carrots cake pancakes with Maple- Praline Syrup

1 tsp. baking powder

2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. golden raisins
1 lg. egg
2 Tbsp. Organic brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 c. finely grated carrots
3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
Maple- Praline Syrup
Serves: 12
1 1/2 c. Margarine
1 1/2 c. Pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. Pure maple syrup
Pancake Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, blend and whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, nuts and raisins. In a small bowl, blend and whisk together egg, brown sugar, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir in carrots. Stir the carrot mixture into the dry ingredients, stir until Incorporate well.
Maple- Praline Syrup Directions:
1. In a sauce pan cook margarine, pecans, maple syrup, over medium-low heat. stir often, for about 5 minutes or until blended and sugar has dissolved.

Apple Pie filled muffins
Start your morning off with a sweet tasting of Apples and Cinnamon. And a cup of Orange juice.
Serves: 12
1 can (21 oz.) Apple Pie Filling
1 c. Coconut Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 c. All-purpose Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp.Course Himalayan salt
1 c. Craisins
Topping:
1/2 c. Organic brown Sugar
3 Tbsp. Coconut Sugar
1/4 c. Margarine
3 Tbsp. all - purpose flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Lemon zest
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350.
2. In a large-sized mixing bowl place apple filling, and mix with electric mixer to separate apple pieces.
3. Add in all the other ingredients and fill muffin tins about 2/3 full.
4. Top with each muffin with crumble topping and bake for 15-20 minutes in 350 oven.

Coconut-Pineapple upside pancakes

When it comes to having breakfast, I am a "Huge" fan of Pancakes. So when I was thinking about pancakes, I was thinking about coconut pound cake , and pineapple upside down cake.
Serves: 14-16
2 c. Pancake Mix
2 c. shredded coconut
1 1/3 c. water
1/4 c. coconut sugar
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple slices, cut into fourths
Directions:
1. preheat a fry pan, or griddle pan to 375.
2. Blend together pancake mix and coconut, water with a wire whisk. Batter will still have slight lumps. Pour in about 1/4 c. pancake mixture onto the pan. Sprinkle about a Tbsp. coconut sugar on top of the mixture once its on the pan. placing about three pineapple slices over top of the coconut sugar.
3. Allow to cook for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until ready to flip. Cook the other side for the same amount of minutes.

1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. White sesame seeds
2 tsp. Black sesame seeds
2 tsp. Poppy seeds
1 Tbsp. Dried onions
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
Directions:
1. Preheat waffle iron. In a large bowl beat in eggs with a whisk until fluffy. whisk in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder,sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onions, onion powder, garlic powder, vanilla and salt, just until smooth.
2. Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. pour waffle mixture onto the waffle iron. allow to cook until golden brown.

Tomato- Basil Pancakes

Serves:12
1 3/4 c. milk * (non dairy milk)
2 eggs, beaten slightly
2 c. tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped
1 c. sweet bell pepper, chopped finely
1 c. fresh basil, chopped finely
3/4- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar
Pancake
2 1/4 c. flour
3 Tbsp. Sugar
3 tsp. Baking powder
3/4 tsp. Baking soda
3/4 tsp. Salt
1 7/8- 2 1/4 c. milk
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl combine water and eggs; add Pancake Mix. Stir just until combined but still slightly lumpy. Stir in tomatoes and sweet pepper, basil. Let set aside for a least 5 minutes.
2. Heat a lightly greased griddle pan or heavy non stick skillet pan over medium heat. For each individual pancake, pour about 1/4 cup batter onto the hot pan.
3. Cook over medium heat until pancakes turn golden brown, turning to cook second sides when pancake surfaces are bubbly and the edges are slightly dry (for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side). transfer pancakes to an ovenproof platter; sprinkle with cheese. Placing pancake into a 300 degree oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese begins to melt.
Pancake Directions:
Sift together first three ingredients (to prevent lumps). In a separate bowl, mix egg and milk, then add it to flour mix, stirring until just smooth. Then stir in margarine. Grease a griddle or nonstick pan with a little vegetable oil. Heat pan on medium for about ten minutes. Pour batter to form pancakes. Cook first side until bubbles form on top, about three minutes; then flip and cook other side until it's brown, about two minutes.

Pizza "Pig in a blanket" dog
Inspired by: Pizza and Corn dogs
First I want to share with you how I became inspired by, coming up with this recipe. We all know there are two main foods everyone seems to love, and they are of course "Pizza" and "Corn dogs". As this is one of the most consumed foods topped in America. Therefore I became inspired by, both of these's foods and now I am bringing you a much healthier version of the two-(Pictures will be coming soon). * Note: you can even make this with breakfast sausage, or even vegetarian sausage.
Serves: 10
1 pkg. (16 oz.) Hot dogs
1- 3/4 (10 oz.) pkg. refrigerated biscuit dough
1/4 c. - 1 Tbsp. Tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1/8 tsp. Freshly grounded pepper
1- 3/4 Fresh basil, torn
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. roll biscuit dough out and spread tomato sauce, cheese, oregano, basil, red, and ground pepper.
3. Cut the dough into crescent style, then wrap the hot dog around to form a piggy in the blanket.
4. Bake in preheated oven until biscuits are brown, for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Breakfast Meatloaf

Serves: 8
1 lb. Ground breakfast sausage
1 c. Texture soy protein
1 c. Milk * (Dairy free milk)
3 Eggs* (Egg replacer)
1 Bell pepper,chopped
1/2 sm. Onion,chopped
2 Celery stalks, chopped
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg.frozen spinach, or fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
1/2 tsp. Ground sage
Direction:
1. preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 8 x 11- in loaf pan.
2. In a large glass mixing bowl, blend together sausage, soy protein, milk, and eggs until blends come together well. Mix in bell peppers,onion, Celery and spinach. season with cayenne, rosemary and sage. place mixture into prepared loaf pan.
3. Place loaf pan into preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, or until the center is firm and juices are clear. Allow to stand for few minutes before serving.

Cherry-filled Pancakes

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Cherry pie filling
Pancake:
Serves: 6 (Makes 12 in total)
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. milk *(Dairy free milk)
1 cup all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt
Filling Directions:
1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese with a wire whisk, or electric mixer on medium until smooth.
2. incorporate whipped cream and vanilla extract. Blend mixture on low until blended well. Add in powdered sugar and stir.
3. Spoon in two Tablespoons Cherry pie filling on each crepe style pancake; roll up. Serve with more whipped cream and cherry pie filling -Optional
Pancake Directions:
In medium sized mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Beat the mixture with a wire whisk until smooth. Heat a lightly greased dutch oven skillet over medium heat; remove the skillet from heat. Pour about 3 tablespoon of the batter into skillet. Lift and tilt the skillet to spread the batter evenly. Return the skillet to heat and brown the pancake on one side only. capsize the skillet over a plate and remove the crepe style pancake.

Breakfast Panini
Nothing says breakfast like a "Panini" Breakfast.
Serves: 1
2 slices Cinnamon raisin Bread
2 eggs, fried
Monterey jack cheese,grated
Cheddar cheese,grated
1 tsp. Margarine, melted
2-4 slices Turkey pastrami
2-4 slices Bacon,cooked
Directions:
1. Fry egg in dutch oven fry pan.
2. Brush margarine on both sides of bread.
3. Sprinkle onto side of the bread.
4. Add both pastrami and bacon.
5. Lay both eggs on top of, pastrami and bacon.
6. place sandwich inside of panini grill, or use a sandwich maker.
