Weight in: Ramen

Hello and Welcome to, Living Better Cafe, new blog post called: Weight in. Weight in, is a written food review. And Living Better Cafe, has two written food reviews on: Ramen.

Living Better Cafe, has tried Paldo Kokomen Clean Spicy Chicken and Maruchan ramen noodles. So, why not start from the Left side first, Paldo.

Paldo Kokomen, has better and easy to read ingredients. Plus, what neat about this is: Paldo has Engery servings to there product. When it came to the noodles, they are way much bigger. And when they are cooked: the noodles because plumper. When it comes to seasoning, they give you, not one package. But, two packages... one package has the powder broth, and the second package, has the spices. And the ingredients are cleaner. Like, it says in its name.

Now shall, we speak on Maruchan, yes they have easy to read ingredients, for the most part. And their noodles are small.But, they do have some kind of coating on their noodles, that like a waxy feel to it.

Serving comparison

Both companies, noodles serve one person. Plus, there is zero grams of: cholesterol and Trans Fan.

So, when it comes to the over all factor, Living Better Cafe, votes for Paldo Kokomen Clean Spicy Chicken... not only do they live up to their name: Clean. Their seasoning packages are separated. One package is the broth and, inside the other package, they give you the spices. So, there you have it, Paldo Kokomen, gets a good review.

Stay tuned for more, Weight in... Living Better Cafe, want you to live Better. 🍵

Daily Bites...Oats

* Please Continue to read this blog article.

Hello and welcome to, Living Better Cafe, Fifth blog post article called: Daily Bites. This article will take you more in-depth behind the scene of, what you are eating on a daily basis. So, who want to know, what they are placing in their system on a regular basis? Once again,Living Better Cafe knows... and thats the founder of this blog, Katrina Smith. Therefore, take it away Katrina.

Living Better Cafe, is going to target oats, and not just one type of oats. You will learn about: Whole Oats and Steel Cut Oats. But, first Katrina Smith wants to share her story behind Oats. So, Katrina take it away.

You all know me for writing, Living Better Cafe, and how I bring you recipes and tips on saving money. And how I tell you how good food is for you. But, just like everyone one else, I too have food that I do not like eating. And of course, Living Better Cafe is bringing it to you. I know all the good benefits of eating Oatmeal. But, just like everyone else has their likes and dislikes, Oatmeal and I go along way back. And I won't share to much right now... I don't want to gross you out. I will just say that: the texture of hot Oatmeal, reminds me of slime. If you can get what I am saying. So, I will hand it over to Living Better Cafe.

Yes! We all get the picture, Katrina, and thanks for keeping it all together...we don't need anyone turning heads asking for paper towels. Now, let's get straight to talking about: Oats. And why not start with Quick Oats? We all get the fact that Oatmeal is good for us. But, it can stun some in different ways. So, Living Better Cafe is going to break it down for you, by giving you a did you know fact.

Living Better Cafe says: did you know that, Oats are one of the healthiest grains on the planet. And that Oats have multiple benefits, and they include the following:

* Lower cholesterol

* Lower blood sugar

* Lower the risk of heart disease

* Weight loss

* Immune booster

* Prevent Cancer

* Energy booster

* Helps prevent and treat Diabetes

*High in Fiber

So, that the benefits of Oats. But, what is the difference between the two... Living Better Cafe did mention: Quick Oats and Steel Cut Oats. And we are going to cover that right now.

Quick Oats are basically known as, quick cooking Oats, they go through the same process as, Rolled Oats. And they go through a rolling machine, that flatten them, into thinner flakes. Quick Oats, cook faster than Regular Oats, and they are loaded up with more protein. And Steel Cut Oats, are also called: Irish Oats, which is Whole Oats that have been cut with a steel blade.

And that is very interesting to come to think about it, the whole processing of how Oats are made. But, out of the two, which one cooks faster? Its not that hard to figure out that, Quick Oats cook faster than Steel Cut.

And there you have it, the different between Quick Oats and Steel Cut Oats. As Quick and Steel Cut Oats, carry the same benefits.

Once wash, allow to dry and remove the skin from the seed. Next place the seed in some water, and keep in a warm place. you do not want to drown the seed, just enough to cover it slightly.

Next, after you have noticed that the seed has cracked on one, or both end's, you want to remove it from the water. Place two tooth pick's on both sides ( Not were it has crack at.) Place inside of a glass container, filled with water ( Make sure the water is covering the base of the avocado seed.) *Reminder

Make sure to change the water because it will evaporate, and you want to keep the base of the seed wet.
