Living with....Food allergy!

Living better cafe isn't just all about organizing your space, it is also about creative food.
Introducing you to a different side of food, while making it your own.
There is a way that you can still enjoy the meals you love, just remove the ailing food.
How is it done? Why its quite simple.
First you know what triggers your system reaction, remove that triggering food.
Like if your gluten sensitive you eliminate all gluten products.
Its all about still enjoying food, without the side effects you would have if you were to eat it.

Shark tank spritzer
*Note: Kid friendly beverage
1 liter club soda
Cherries
Lime
Ice
Garnish with: Swedish fish on toothpick
Direction:
Juice cherries in a juicer, then add the juice to the club soda.
Spritz lime at the last minute
Serves: 4 cups
*Note: To make this into an adult drink, add your favorite alcoholic beverage.

S'more Nacho
* Note: this recipe is an oldie with a twist
Graham crackers (break them in half)
Marshmallows
Chocolate syrup
Chocolate chip (if you want extra chocolaty fun)
Directions:
Break the Graham cracker in half to look like chips.
Add butter into pot to melt marshmallows, once marshmallows are melted.
Drizzle the marshmallows, chocolate syrup, onto graham cracker. And jazz it up with chocolate chips.
Serves: vary on the amount of mouths your feeding

Summer heat Sandwich
* Note: with this sandwich you control the temperature.
Sandwich Station:
Texas Toast bread
Tomatoes (sliced)
Onions (sliced)
Meat (your choice)
Pepper Jack cheese
Jalapeño pepper (sliced)
Olives (sliced)
Pickles (sliced)
Lettuces (chopped)
Sriracha paste (use as spread)
Mayo
Direction:
Build your sandwich, but don't forget the vinaigrette.
Sandwich vinaigrette dressing:
5 garlic cloves minced
1 tsp. Dried oregano
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
1/4 tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
Directions:
In a small jar add minced garlic cloves, oregano, salt, pepper, vinegar and olive oil. Shake it up then apply a drizzle on your sandwich. Refrigerator left over vinaigrette.
Serves: 4
* Note:
Homemade vinaigrette dressing can only last for, only a few days.

Soda pop poppy corn
*Note: this recipe is an oldie with a twist.
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
1 (16 oz) Bag marshmallows
1/4 cup butter
vegetable spray
1/2 tsp. Root beer extract
12 Root beer candy crushed
Direction:
Pop the pop corn as directed on the bag, then transfer from the pot into a bowl.
Place a sheet of parchment paper down onto the counter, and spray with vegetable spray.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add marshmallows to melted butter and stir constantly until mixture is smooth; remove from heat. Quickly stir root beer candy and root beer extract into butter mixture until well blended. Pour mixture over popcorn and mix until evenly coated. Allow popcorn mixture to cool.
Prep time:
Spray your hands with cooking spray and form popcorn mixture into balls; arrange on the prepared Parchment paper. Wrap each ball with plastic wrap when completely cooled.
Serves: 15
Tip:
You can even make them look like Lollypops.

Mango tangerine fizz up
1 Liter Seltzer water
Mango (equation vary on the size of the fruit)
Tangerine (equation vary on the size of the fruit)
Remove the seeds from the mango as well as the tangerine.
Slice mango prices in half to fit in your juicer, and peel off the skin of your tangerine.
And place the slices into juicer and blend the favors together, then pour into your seltzer water and enjoy.
Size: 4 cups
~Note to Adults:
To spiff up a adult drink, add your favorite alcoholic beverage and stir.

Jazz it up Mackerel Salad
*Note: If you don't like mackerel, you can substitute it.
1 16oz. Bag macaroni noodles
1 15 oz. Can Mackerel (drain out the liquid)
1 medium red onion chopped finely
1 medium sweet pepper chopped finely
1 Celery stalk chopped finely
2-3 dashes of Cayenne pepper
2-3 dashes of black pepper
2 Tbsp. Relish sandwich spread
Directions: Boil water for the noodles, add few drops of oil to the water so pasta won't stick.
Once pasta is done cooking (drain the pasta water), then combined the other ingredients.
And enjoy!
Serves: 4
~Note: you can even make this with rice.
