Moody Girl Ice Cream Float
Summer is just around the corner, and there is nothing that will quench your thirst. Like, this Adult infused Ice cream Float. You can even go as far as making a mock Ice cream float, for the little ones to.
Serves:2
2 Tbsp. Kahlua
4 scoops Coffee ice cream
2 cans Root beer
2 Tbsp. Peanut butter chips
2 Tbsp. Crushed Peanut's-(Optional)* if allergic to tree nuts opt them out
Whipped Cream-(garnished)
Directions:
1. In two cups large cups, add Kahlua and root beer into each cup.
2.Gently add in 2 scoops each, of Ice Cream into each cup.
3. pour more root beer over the top, and finish it off with whipped cream, Peanut butter chips and crushed peanuts.

Rosemary-Garlic Cornmeal mush
Living Better Cafe give this recipe the "GOLDEN STAR", as you can taste both the rosemary and garlic.Which both has great benefits, for your health.
Serves: 2
1/2 c. Cornmeal
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/8 tsp. course Himalayan salt
1 1/2 c.- 2 Tbsp. Milk
1 tsp. Fresh rosemary
Directions:
1. Mix together cornmeal, Milk and salt. with Rosemary and garlic into a medium saucepan. cooking over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, just until the mixture becomes thick. Allowing to cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Welcome to Hot Out Of The Oven food news, I have yet another edition of food news coming straight from no other source but, Living Better Cafe of course. As you have read through many editions of (H.O.T.O), since I have started this food news addition. You have become wiser about what you buy,and place into your mouth. While I am very happy to continue to keep "Hot of the oven" going as much as you keep enjoy reading it every Monday. In this Fourth May edition.
In today article of Hot out of the oven, Living Better Cafe will be talking about the Benefits of Tofu. But, before Living Better Cafe brings you the benefits. I the creator Katrina Smith, here wants to give you some background history on Tofu. Like, what is Tofu, and where did it come from? because you all need to know where your food comes from before placing it into your palate.
Tofu, is also known as bean curd, which is a food made from coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. It is a component in Eastern Asian and Southeast Asian dishes. As there are many different varieties of tofu, out there on the market. Like, Firm, Extra firm, Soft and fresh tofu. Tofu has a subtle flavor that can be use in savory and sweet dishes. As it's often seasoned or marinated when it's added into the dish.
Tofu has come a very long way, as Living Better Cafe speak's talking about 2,000 years ago. Back when Chinese legend attribute it's invention to the prince Liu Au, in 179-122 BC.
Tofu has a low calorie count and reasonably amount of protein. It's also high in iron, calcium, magnesium.
Living Better Cafe want to now tell you about the nutritional benefit's, of eating Tofu. Like, I Katrina Smith have stated before, that Tofu has a good source of Protein. Tofu also contains eight other essential amino acids. Like, I have stated before about Tofu having reasonable amount, of protein, iron, calcium and magnesium. Tofu also carries selenium and phosphorous. In addition, Tofu has a good source of copper, zinc and vitamin B1.
Now I am going to hand it back over to Living Better Cafe, as Living Better Cafe will share more benefits of Tofu. Tofu which is a plant based food, which is made from soy bean. Tofu helps decrease the risk of obesity and diabetes, heart disease and helps promote healthy complexion in hair, increased energy, and help lower weight overall. Consuming Tofu as an meat alternative to animal protein lowers level of your LDL cholesterol, which in turn decreases the risk of atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. Tofu also contains antioxidant properties that inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
Consuming Tofu in small amounts does not effect tumor growth, or a woman's risk in breast cancer. People who suffer from Osteoporosis, and add soy isoflavones are known to decrease bone loss and increase bone mineral density during menopause. Taking in a soy based diet can, also help with your liver functioning, as all types of Tofu have been curdled with various coagulants can be used to prevent liver damage caused by free radicals. Tofu has also been observed through populations that consume greater amounts of soy have, in general, less incidence of age-related mental disorders.

Waffle Pizza Pocket
You heard of Breakfast pizza, Why have you heard of a Waffle pizza pocket? Yes! turn you pancake's into a waffle an Enjoy a Breakfast on the Go, in a pocket.
Serves: 6 (Makes 12 in total)
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. milk *(Dairy free milk)
1 cup all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt
1/4 c. 2 Tbsp. Tomato sauce, divided
3/4 c. Shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
3/4 Breakfast sausage, cooked
3 3/4 eggs, scrambled
3/4 c. Frozen shredded hash browns
Directions:
1. Preheat the waffle Iron, according to manufacturer's Directions.
2. In medium sized mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Beat the mixture with a wire whisk until smooth. Heat a lightly greased dutch oven skillet over medium heat; remove the skillet from heat. Pour about 3 tablespoon of the batter into a waffle iron.
3. Pour mixture onto waffle iron allow to cook, according to manufacturer's directions.
4. Spoon 1 Tsp. Tomato sauce into the center, topping each waffle with 2 tsp. Shredded cheese, 2 tsp. eggs, hash browns and 2 tsp. sausage.
5. Cook until sealed around the edges, are golden brown.
6. Repeat step 3 to build another waffle, to place on top.
7. Place the top waffle on top, while it's pippin hot. So, it will melt the cheese.

Banana- chocolate Corn meal mush
This is another cornmeal mush recipe, you can serve up for Breakfast. As it will give you a great Iron boost because of the cocoa. While give you a good source of potassium, which you will get from the banana.
Serves: 2
1/2 c. Cornmeal
1/4 c. Cocoa powder
1 c. Milk
1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 lg. Banana, mashed
2 1/2 Tbsp. Organic Pure Sugar
Directions:
1. whisking together Milk, Sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat, until the sugar has dissipated; Bring the mixture to a simmer.
2. Stir in the Banana and the cornmeal into the milk mixture; keeping the temperature on simmer until cornmeal becomes thick, and the banana is broken up somewhat, giving about 5 minutes.

Which in the video you will learn about. So, Living Better Cafe Presents..... Coffee Talk will be bring the Benefit's of Yoga from "WatchWellcast" .
Note: Yoga has no limitations, so people with limited mobility can also get involved.
Strawberry Hush Puppies
You are sure going to love these, as you have never heard of Hush puppies like this before. And the fun thing about it is, you can switch it up, using different other fruits. Now we are not only talking "Delicious", We are talking "Healthy and Inexpensive".
Serves: 7
1 3/4 Eggs, Beaten
1/4 c. - 3 Tbsp. Organic Pure sugar
7/8 Strawberries, Diced
3/4 c. - 2 Tbsp. All- Purpose Self- Rising Flour
3/4 c. - 2 Tbsp. Self- Rising Corn Meal
3 1/2 c. Coconut Oil
Directions:
1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine together eggs, sugar, strawberries. Incorporate flour and cornmeal.
2. Heat about 2 inches of oil to 350, into a wok, or skillet pan. Drop in Batter by using rounded teaspoonfuls into the oil, and allow to fry until golden brown. Make sure to cook in small batches to maintain the temperature of the oil. Once Hush Puppies are done allow to drain onto a paper towel, or a brown paper bag.
3. dust Hush puppies with powder sugar, or dip them into chocolate sauce.
