Banana-coconut butter



When you taste this recipe you will not go back to, eating Peanut butter again.

Serves: varies

4 oz. Margarine
3 eggs, beaten
4 lg. Bananas
1 1/4 c. Pure cane sugar
1 1/4 c. Shredded coconut flakes
2 Tbsp. Lemon juice

Directions:

1. Cream together margarine and sugar.

2. In medium size mixing bowl add in eggs, lemon juice, coconut, and mashed bananas.

3. Combine together well in a metal mixing bowl.

4. Place the mixing bowl in a saucepan of water on the stove, over medium heat. Stir until mixture becomes thick.

You can say good ridden to PB, and Hello to Banana-coconut butter.

Living Better Suggestions:

* spiff up a sandwich. Like, opting out peanut butter.
* Jazz up any dessert. Like, cakes, donuts and ect.

Reuben Macaroni and cheese

If you love Reuben sandwiches why not enjoy it with a twist.

Serves: 5

2 slices rye bread, torn
3 Tbsp. -1 tsp. panko bread crumbs
5/8 (16 oz.) pkg. Macaroni noodles
1 Tbsp. - 2-1/2 tsp. margarine
1/2 c. - 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. Course Himalayan salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
2 Tbsp. -1-1/2 tsp. spicy brown mustard
1 Tbsp. - 2-1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
3 c. hot milk
1-3/4 c. - 2 Tbsp. shredded Swiss cheese, or more to taste - divided
3/4 c. 3 Tbsp. sauerkraut, drained (reserve juice)
5 oz. deli sliced corn beef
5 oz. deli sliced turkey
1 Tbsp. - 2-1/2 teaspoons Margarine, melted

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350. Place margarine in a 2-qt glass casserole dish.

2. Place torn rye bread into a blender and pulse several times to make crumbs; combine rye crumbs with panko crumbs in a bowl and set aside.

3. Bring a large dutch oven pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain noodles and set aside.

4. Melt 2 Tbsp. Margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir onion until lightly browned, about for 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper; stir in spicy mustard. Remove from heat, stir in flour until smooth, and gradually whisk in milk. Sauce will thicken. Whisk 1 3/4 c. Swiss cheese into the sauce, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Stir sauerkraut with about 1 tablespoon of reserved juice and corned beef, turkey into the cheese sauce.

5. Transfer cooked noodles to the prepared casserole dish and pour in the sauce; stir to combine. Sprinkle remaining Swiss cheese in an even layer over the top.

6. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, about for 20 minutes. Remove casserole from oven and set the oven to broil.

7. Stir 3 tablespoons melted margarine into the reserved rye and panko crumbs until thoroughly combined and sprinkle top of casserole with rye crumb mixture. Return to oven and broil until the crumbs are golden brown, about for 2 more minutes. Keep a close eye on it to prevent dish from burning.

Welcome to another edition of Money Saving tips.
In this edition I will be sharing some cool tips that won't break your bank, and will keep you smiling from ear to ear all the time.
Once again thank you for sticking around, for this last edition of Money saving tips for this December edition. I will be bring you different Money saving tip's daily on saving cash in your wallet, every Tuesday. This week on Money saving tip's Living Better Cafe wants to, help you save more cash in your wallet than ever before. This week I will be giving you tip's on how you can take your laundry basket, and turn it into something that will come in handy on you're trip's out and about.

Storage, Storage, Storage:

1. You are out doing grocery shopping and looking for a proper place to, store you're grocery into you're car why not place them into you're non usable laundry basket. (Hint: So you don't get mixed up the next time you're out, doing Laundry grab a permanent marker, or a label and write the word "Grocery's on all sides).
Party time:

2. You don't have a cooler and you are looking to save more money without going out, and spending more money why not grab a laundry basket. Line you're laundry basket with trash bag's and full it up with ice.
Recycle bin:

3. You don't want to clutter you're kitchen counter with you're recyclable material, why not place a laundry basket next to you're garbage can and line it with a trash bag. (Hint: any size laundry basket will work, this is up to you).

Welcome to Hot Out Of The Oven food news, I have yet another edition of food news coming straight from no other source but, Living Better Cafe of course. As you have read through many editions of (H.O.T.O), since I have started this food news addition. You have became more wiser about what you buy,and place into your mouth. While I am very happy to continue to keep "Hot of the oven" going as much as you keep enjoy reading it every Monday.
In this last December edition I will be bring you and article from a Neurology magazine.

I am a patient of Neurological disorder's and I find this magazine to be quite helpful, as the stories within this magazine has a lot information for people with Neurological disorder's as well holds good information for people who have family member's, friend's of Neurologic disorder's. Blueberry Sailor French Toast



Serves:4

4 slices cinnamon roll bread
1/4 c. Milk* (Dairy free Milk)
1 egg * (egg substitute)
1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
Blueberry cream cheese spread- (recipe is down below)

Directions:

1. Beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon in shallow glass bowl. Pour in milk and stir.

2. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

3. Cook bread slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides.

4. spread Blueberry cream cheese spread on, french toast while is's semi hot. If you desire pour syrup over top.

Blueberry cream cheese spread

Serves: 16

1/2 c. blueberry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Directions:

1. Drain some of the liquid out from the blueberries, place blueberries into a small glass mixing bowl.

2. In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until nearly smooth. Stir in drained berries, and blend until completely combined.

Spinach Pie Pizza



If you have had "Spinach Pie" You would Love! creating this original dish into a Pizza, Why not make it a Spinach Vegan Style Pizza and; you don't even have to GO Vegan to enjoy it.

Serves: 6

2 cans pizza dough
1 1/4 large onion
1 1/4 large bell pepper
2 1/2 Clove garlic, minced
1 c. - 3 Tbsp. crumbled Vegan tofu feta cheese
1/2 c. - 1 Tbsp. - 2 tsp. Cashew ricotta cheese
1/2 of egg replacer
2 1/2 lb. Spinach, rinsed and chopped

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400. Lightly oil a pizza pan.

2. Cook and drain spinach.

3. saute onion, garlic,and bell peppers until soft and lightly browned. Stir in spinach and continue to saute until spinach is limp, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

4. In a medium bowl, blend together egg, ricotta, and feta. Stir in spinach mixture.

5. Put spinach mixture onto pizza dough.

6. Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 15 minutes.
