However, you and me constantly keep hearing the saying, "You are what you eat" Eh! So, does that make vegetarians, vegetables and diary, and vegans vegetables to? excluding animal diary out of the picture. Why of course, Living Better Café has not forgotten about, the meat eaters. So, What the heck ? we all eat food despite of our diet choice. But, the question here is, Are we gluten sensitive? And the only way to really answer that question is, by first asking what is gluten? Okay now so, you want to know what is gluten? and the answer is pretty simply, sticky "Protein". But, that does not really say very much about what gluten is. Let me clearly explain what gluten is, and we can go straight from there. Yes! Gluten is protein. But, it's a different type of protein found in wheat, which is also found in other products. Like, you may have seen on food products "May Contain Wheat" * Hint Gluten.

Now that lead you and including myself further away from the next question because many other questions begin to form, in our head about gluten. Did you know that gluten is a major cause in our health problems, and to some you just thought it has been passed down from your generation. Yes some of these conditions could have been in your generation line, and to some of us, the health problem was by eating gluten.

Living Better Café got a question for you. First how many of you consume process foods on a daily basis? A lot! and did you know that gluten also acts as a preservative? Yes! so that makes it hard to get away from.
