The Chopping block: Sea salt vs. Himalayan salt

Welcome to: Living Better Cafe, new post called: the chopping block. The chopping block will give you, the history behind two similar products, one that's not so healthy, and one that is healthier for you.
What's the difference between Sea Salt and Himalayan salt? The differences between Sea salt and Himalayan salt is the taste, texture and how it's processed.
Sea salt is produce from evaporation of the ocean water or lakes, and with little process. Depending on the water source, this leaves behind certain traces of minerals and elements. Why does it leave traces of minerals? Minerals add flavor and color to Sea salt, which comes in different varieties of coarseness levels.

Himalayan salt, however, comes from rock crystals of salt that been mined from different locations, and mainly from the Himalayan, often from Pakistan. What's with the color of Himalayan salt? Its hue from trace minerals found in the salt, like magnesium, potassium and calcium.
Living Better Cafe, is now here to give you, both sides of: Sea salt and Himalayan salt, it's time to lay out the side effects. We get that salt is salt, regardless of the different types. But, they all have one thing in common, Sodium Chloride, and that's we're the side effects come in... the electrolyte imbalance, which are the ions that live in our bodily fluids that keeps us fueled, and make sure our bodies, are properly functioning. For instance, nerve impulses and heart beat.
When consuming too much sodium, causes potassium levels to drop and so forth.

Which one is better for you? Himalayan salt without a doubt... Himalayan salt has more beneficial minerals than Sea salt. Your container of Sea salt, has 72 particles, and Himalayan salt has 84 essential element that: your body needs. But, don't be so quick to jump, for any Himalayan salt... not all Himalayan salt is the real deal. What? There are some, Himalayan salt, imposters. And to tell if your Himalayan salt is real, Pakistan right on the pack.

Now let's get to the coloring of this salt, Himalayan salt comes in: various colors from White to Pink. However, to spot out the imposters, they have added food dye. Not saying that: Black Himalayan salt doesn't exist, it does, just be aware of the labels... If Pakistan is not on there, you have burned fuel.

Therefore, can you see the difference between the two? Living Better Cafe, hope you have  chosen to live Better.
